I’m a person. I play board games. I eat potatoes.
I work as a planner. That means I do board game-type stuff, just on a larger scale, and with less fantasy theming. I enjoy my work.
Sometimes I go outside and walk around in the world. I often do that on trails. So I volunteer on the board for Trailkeepers of Oregon. You should donate if you also like walking around on trails.
I used to say that I was a landscape eschatologist, which is a made-up thing that I used as an excuse to academically justify watching Terry Gilliam’s 12 Monkeys, George Miller’s Mad Max films, and lots of zombie stuff. Now I say that I’m a reformed landscape eschatologist, which means that I no longer try to justify those things as academic pursuits.
